Where to find Sweet Leaf in Palia
There are three main ways to find Sweet Leaf in Palia:
- Explore northern Bahari Bay
- Purchase from the Foraging Guild Store for three Foraging Medals.
- Complete Chayne and Hekla’s level two friendship quests.
The best way to find Sweet Leaf, however, is to explore northern Bahari Bay. In particular, you’ll find some in the following regions:
- Thorny Thicket
- The Outskirts
- Statue Garden
- Flooded Steps
- Proudhorn Pass
- Coral Shores
- Flooded Fortress
- Ancient Aquaduct

Sweet Leaf appears as a bright green plant with a subtle glow. Its leaves have orange tips, differentiating them from nearby plants with a blue hue. It’s also noticeably brighter than other plants in Bahari Bay, making it much easier to find than most other resources.
Sweet Leaf can be collected during both day and night, letting you explore Bahari Bay anytime you wish. Your best bet for finding Sweet Leaf quickly is searching Thorny Thicket, The Outskirts, and the Flooded Steps, but anywhere in northern Bahari Bay is safe to explore. The more areas you check, the greater your chances of finding this spice. You won’t find any in southern Bahari Bay, though, so don’t worry about traveling around here unless you’re looking for other materials.

Although Sweet Leaf isn’t available at the Kilima Village general store, you can find some at Ashura’s Foraging Guild shop for three medals each. You can also complete Chayne and Hekla’s level two friendship quests for extra Sweet Leaf as rewards alongside Dragon’s Beard Peat, Wild Garlic, and increased friendship with both characters.
