Finally, a real look at Nic Cage in Dead by Daylight

I hope he says lots of Matchstick Men quotes

Today at Summer Game Fest 2023, Nic Cage wandered on stage to present his upcoming Dead by Daylight cameo. Although it was teased recently, we got a full gameplay reveal, and a quick chat from the famous actor and pretty-good Elvis impersonator himself!

Cage apparently recorded lines for the game, and says he joined the project (beyond the obvious reasoning of “money!”) because someone he knows is a big fan of the series. He also hopes that he’s able to sufficiently immerse players with his lines and performance, which will “fuse” players and him together as one entity. Yep, it was a Nic Cage thing to say! At least we know he wasn’t an AI hologram. With Geoff’s access to IMAX executive money, you never know what he’s capable of.

You can check out the brief new footage revealed earlier today below. Nic Cage will arrive in Dead by Daylight on July 25. That’s…something I never thought I’d have to type!
