World of Warcraft restaurant opens in Beijing

Oh the irony … a place where you eat out, dedicated to people who don’t go out.

Despite this obvious marketing flaw, a World of Warcraft restaurant has indeed opened in Beijing, China. The establishment’s interior is designed to mimic Blizzard’s world-crushing MMO, with artwork from the game surrounding diners. The restaurant’s entrance is even designed to ape Warcraft‘s opening menus. 

On the subject of menus, the food is all renamed to give off a Warcraft vibe, and the main dining area is known as the Hall of Snowstorms. The owner of the restaurant — himself a big WoW fan — is hoping that others like him will find a “comfortable gathering place” here.
