Scorn release date

Scorn will be out just in time for Halloween

I need another shower after watching this gnarly Xbox showcase trailer

After a delay, Scorn showed back up at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase with a wonderfully awful trailer and a final release date: Ebb Software’s fleshy nightmare will be released on October 21, just in time for Halloween. It’s another Game Pass inclusion, too.

It’s been a long time coming, and this game is just as gross as the first time we saw it, which is impressive considering how long it’s been slipping in and out of my radar.

Apart from the Xbox Series X/S versions, body-horror fans will also be able to check out Scorn on PC — it’s coming to Steam and the Epic Games Store.

According to the team, “players must harness their intuition — and possibly the darkest parts of their minds — to reach new areas and earn new abilities in their fight to make it out of the bio labyrinth.” I feel like when the credits finally roll, we’ll all need to step outside and just chill for a bit. I wouldn’t be surprised if Scorn is the equivalent of a movie you only need to watch once in your life — or maybe it’ll be a freaky Halloween tradition.

As they say, long live the new flesh.
