Listen up, punks. Japantor’s New York Anime Fest contest ends in 3 days, on Sept. 10th. If you live anywhere remotely near New York, then you should do yourself a favor and enter this contest. The New York Anime Fest is going to be a blast, especially with the DtoidNY team gathering together.
So, what do you need to do in order to get these tickets? Sit down in front of your computer for just a minute. Since you’ve already got that part done, just pull out your headset and microphone, and record one (or all, if you choose) of these lines:
For those who want to show off their manliness:

And for those who want to show the tender side of their hearts:
- Nia from Gurren Lagann: “Just what on earth is moe?”
- Konata from Lucky Star: “Timotei! Timotei! Timotei!”
That’s all I could find for clips of the quotes, but for Kamina’s line, simply put your heart and soul into it and deliver the line in as manly and confident a way as possible. For Nia’s line, just be innocent and confused.
