Alone in the Dark PS3 will be improved: Turd polishing machine found at Atari

Recommended Videos

We at Destructoid did not like Alone in the Dark. In fact, our review of it was quite harsh (although to its credit, it was no Eternity’s Child). If you were holding out for the PlayStation 3 version, however, don’t kill yourself just yet — Atari has promised that Alone in the Dark for the PS3 will be better. It promised!

There are no specifics as of yet, but if Conrad’s review was anything to go by, Atari needs to make improvements to the following areas: The pacing, the pointless collection quests, the repeating pointless collection quests, crap camera control. useless firearms and a series of glitches. Just clear those up and everything will be fine.

I don’t hold out much hope. When a game is being sold on the idea that “it’s not as bad this time,” it’s rarely ever good. We’ll see what Atari has to offer by way of improvements before we can judge for certain, but nobody hold their breath.
