Xbox players will soon be able to get into the unbelievably pretty aerial antics of Microsoft Flight Simulator, as the Xbox Series X/S versions are launching July 27, 2021. If you’re subbed to Game Pass, you’re good to go. Better start reading up, pilot!

Technical details about the Xbox version of Microsoft Flight Simulator are limited right now, but Asobo did say on Twitter that it’ll run at 30 frames per second. “On TVs that support VRR, the framerate can go above 30 FPS,” according to the studio.

Stick around to the end of the E3 trailer, in which you’ll see a — wait really? A Top Gun expansion??? It’s free and it’s meant to prop up the upcoming movie Top Gun: Maverick. Both are set for November 19, 2021. In a weird way, the crossover works.
