Another Sega-on-Switch double pack is on the way, with Sonic Forces gumming half of it

I want another 3D Sonic

This week, we learned that Sega plans to introduce yet another one of their collections into the world: this time, a double-pack of Sonic Mania and Team Sonic Racing on Switch.

It’s not a bad back! Team Sonic Racing might not be to everyone’s liking but it’s a decent little arcade racer, and Sonic Mania is…one of the best Sonic games in years. But this upcoming double-pack, spotted on a GameFly listing, isn’t quite as enticing.

First up as part of the duo: Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz. It might not be the strongest way to sell a collection, but it’s not bad! The other half is where it gets scary: Sonic Forces. Back away, not today, Sega! Although Forces had some bright spots, by and large it was panned as another misstep in the 3D Sonic universe. We’re still anxiously awaiting a new 3D Sonic that gets it right.

The pack is not priced out on Gamefly’s site, but it seems to be out on October 31 of this year. A $40 price point, like the other pack, is probably a good guess though.

Sonic Forces + Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz – HD Double Pack [Gamefly] Thanks Rick!
