Steam celebrates Star Wars Day with huge franchise sale

May 4th. A day where fans come together to celebrate the enduring blockbuster franchise that birthed several awesome movies, a few not-so-awesome ones, multiple animated spin-offs, a notorious Holiday Special, a billion-dollar toy-line, and endlessly divisive lore. It’s Star Wars, of course.

To celebrate this year’s “Star Wars Day,” Steam is running a sale on a huge catalogue of PC games that all came from a galaxy far, far away. For a limited time, you can get discounts on a massive range of Star Wars adventures old and new. This deal is getting better all the time.

There’s generous discounts on titles such as Electronic Arts’ Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Ravensoft’s Jedi Knight series, BioWare’s legendary Knights of the Old Republic games, Zen Studios’ Pinball FX 3 tables, and a huge run of LEGO releases. Even FMV clunker Rebel Assault is in the mix. Whether you live on Endor, Hoth, that planet with the red sand, or that dopey casino place, there’s something for every fan.

While not a die-hard Star Wars aficionado, I do hold a special space in my heart for the beloved franchise. I enjoy the original trilogy, dig some of the recent movies, and will forever love the series’ excellent costuming and physical effects work, even if – strictly speaking – I’m more of a Battle Beyond the Stars/Star Crash kinda guy.

Happy Star Wars Day!
