(Update) New Bloodstained patch finally fixes the washed out HDR on Xbox One

[Update: Reports are coming in that the infamous Overlord achievement glitch is now fixed (it may take a few minutes to pop in-game). Publisher 505 Games also notes that the Backpack DLC “will be headed” to players by November 29.]

Bloodstained is kind of all over the place when it comes to updates.

The team has waffled between giving the troubled Switch edition one big patch or a few little ones, the Japanese release of the game was delayed for months and the Xbox One version has been waiting on an HDR fix for a long, long while. Well, it just got it.

505 Games has announced that update 10.0.0.6 is now live on Xbox One, which most notably fixes the “washed out” look when using HDR, as well as a number of bugs and an overhaul for the map system. A bunch of shards have also been changed (mostly nerfed, with lower attack values or a higher mana cost), and several enemies (Dullahammer Head, Malediction) got increased HP pools. Thankfully, monster fur got an increased drop rate from Simians.

Note that other platforms actually already got this update, but the Backpack DLC is still delayed on Xbox One. You can find the full patch notes below, including the exhaustive list of shard changes.
