Bandai Namco has released an extended version of its Gamescom 2019 trailer for upcoming action-RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The new clip adds some extra in-game action, as well as new cinematics.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will let fans relive some of the biggest events in the Dragon Ball Z saga. Battles between characters such as Goku, Buu, Vegeta and Cell will all be present and correct, while side-quests will add new and interesting additions to the universe, such as Bonyu, a Ginyu Force member who left the team because “she couldn’t stand all the posing”.

While fighting will, of course, be a major element of Kakarot’s storyline and gameplay, there’ll be plenty of exploration and fun mini-games also on deck, alongside a plethora of sidequests and fan-pleasing references to some of the legendary series’ deepest lore.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot launches January 17 on PS4, PC and Xbox One.
