PAX 2008 to feature Ken Levine, Jonathan Coulton, and the OneUps

We had a blast at PAX 2007, and Destructoid is already gearing up for a repeat performance in August of this year. The guest list is also looking pretty hot for PAX 2008.

Ars Technica reports that BioShock creative director, 2K Boston President, and overall Big Daddy Ken Levine will show face and provide the keynote speech. I’ll be equipping my Fanboy Plasmid.

“Obviously, Ken is pimp supreme,” said Penny Arcade’s Robert Khoo. “We’re super excited to have him open up the show.”

Ars was kind enough to list the other guests, but did not mention the OneUps in the headline. I’ve met many of the Ars guys, and they’re pretty great overall. But I’m going to have to ask why they left the best videogame band out of the headline. Maybe it was a fluke?

Aside from my incredible band, fan fav MC Chris, Freezepop, The MiniBosses, MC Frontalot, The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets, and Anamanaguchi will be there to perform for you.

Wow. With Ken Levine and all of these bands alone, you’d feel pretty stupid for missing PAX 2008, right? No, Destructoid readers are too smart for that. You’ve already cleared August 29-31 and pre-registered, right?
