The developers have continued to expand and refine this game since launch in 2017. If you haven’t kept up with its ongoing state, I’ll just highlight the Automatic Update — it added little floating farmhand drones that you can program to handle repetitive tasks on your behalf. There comes a point in every simulation game where you yearn to automate daily chores, and these robots are the answer.
Slime Rancher will be free on the Epic Games Store until March 21, and then it’s onto Oxenfree.
