These Legend of Zelda homage sketches are incredible

Zelda fans often produce the best art projects: I’ve said it a million times, and it still rings true even when we’re over a year removed from the last real Zelda game.

Artist Lyndon Willoughby, also known as Willowstration, proves this principle with their “Linktober” series. So far they’ve covered the Game Boy and Link’s Awakening (complete with the Wind Fish egg), the SNES and A Link to the Past, and the Wiimote with Skyward Sword.

Interestingly, they’re covering all seven of their favorite Zelda games in order. Willoughby notes that they are going to be spending a week (starting from October 9) on these, so more are on the way.

You can check them out on their Twitter or Instagram accounts.
