Sega’s latest Genesis compilation is spin dashing onto Switch for the holidays

Physical and Digital options available

The recently released Sega Genesis Classics compilation is heading to Switch soon. Sega announced the collection with a release window of Winter 2018 for Nintendo’s console. Being on the Switch, players will be able to split their joy-con for spontaneous multiplayer action at any moment. There will also be online multiplayer, save states, rewind features, mirror modes, and achievements.

In a nice move, the bundle will be getting both a physical and digital release, though there is no mention of which games will be included. While it is safe to assume it would be the same as the PS4 and Xbox One versions, the PC release on Steam includes extra titles (most notably Sonic 3 & Knuckles) and it would be a shame to not have a definitive package on at least one console.
