Spend seven minutes in heaven with RAGE 2

QuakeCon 2018’s keynote presentation had some good info on a bunch of games, but ID Software wasn’t there with only Doom Eternal. Along with announcing that Quake Champions is now free-to-play, RAGE 2 got an extended trailer that gave us a better look at how it’ll handle. The gunplay looks solid and the car combat seems cool, but I just don’t know if I can muster up the interest in yet another open-world title.

At the very least, this seven-minute trailer informs us more about the plot and clues us into what extra gadgets will be at your disposal. I do love the return of the wingstick and it’s always a blast to see a body lifelessly floating through the air as you balance it with bullets. Hopefully, all the non-linear chicanery is reigned in, because I do like the look of the gunplay here.
