Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris looks all right in this launch trailer

Reminder that it’s out *tomorrow*!

I was so focused on hearing about Destiny 2‘s future that I let its first expansion, Curse of Osiris, sneak up on me. That’s out tomorrow for $20 (or $35 as part of the game’s expansion pass), and with it comes new story missions on the Vex-overrun Mercury, another social space, new Strikes and Crucible maps, more weapons and gear to earn, and the so-called “raid lair” on Leviathan, Eater of Worlds.

Here’s all that in moving-picture form:

Whether you’re slated to play Curse of Osiris or not, tomorrow will be a good day to check back in with Destiny 2. Bungie is adding armor ornaments, offering a daily selection of legendary weapon and armor mods for purchase from Banshee-44, and changing up reputation token drops as part of a free update. Then, on December 12, we’ll get another update to introduce Masterworks weaponry.

I’m not stoked for any one aspect of the updates or the DLC, but I’m happy to have a reason to return.
