Kept you waiting huh? Atlus confirms western release of Shin Megami Tensei V on Switch

What a great win for the Switch

Well, we basically knew it was coming because all things MegaTen kind of make their way to the west eventually, but Atlus has confirmed that Shin Megami Tensei V, the newest entry in the mainline SMT series, will be coming west.

As previously announced it’s exclusive to Switch for now, mostly because Atlus wanted to preserve the portable nature of the games, a feature the Switch can acquiesce to. “Release date and pricing” information are coming later, but for now, there’s an English trailer we can all enjoy (don’t get too excited, it’s basically a redux of the existing one with some text).

Is Persona 5 next?
