Hitman is starting to get into player-curated contracts

Yes, IO is *still* supporting this game

This month’s Hitman update schedule is mostly more of the same, but the fact that IO is still finding ways to support the game makes me happy. First up, on August 11, the game will have 10 new Featured Contracts to unravel and another Challenge Pack — the sixth to date — for Hokkaido. Completing the latter set will award all you stone-cold killers out there with a unique item.

And later this month, the studio will launch the first of its player-curated Featured Contracts.

“These player-curated contracts will offer a fresh twist to the style of contracts that will be featured in the game and give all players a chance to get an insight into how some of the prominent members of the Hitman community play the game.” The first curator? Brazilian streamer Mendietinha.

This stuff sounds intimidating to a wannabe professional like me, but it makes sense that IO would want to keep the hardcore folks engaged. They’re the ones still putting in time, after all.

IO says “there is no game update in the pipeline for this month but we are working towards future game updates. Looking ahead, the September Content Schedule will be similar to this one, with a focus on Contracts Mode and a new Challenge Pack. That relative calm will give us time to prepare for some exciting announcements.”
