E3 2017 badge art revealed, not Persona for first time in years

Yakuza and 13 Sentinels instead

Sega retains its stranglehold on E3 badges, but not in the way that we’re used to. The E3 2017 badge art has just been revealed, and Persona‘s three year reign has come to an end.

Instead, it’s Yakuza 6 and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim that are featured on the badges that some 65,000 convention-goers will wear. Yakuza is obviously a huge property for Sega, and it was revealed at PlayStation Experience that Yakuza 6 will be coming to the west next year. The 13 Sentinels inclusion comes on the heels of this morning’s news that the Atlus-published game will also be released in the west.

This is fine and all, but we really need a new Persona to be announced. I need my E3 badge art to revert to the comforting ways that I’m used to.
