QuakeCon 2017 is all set for August 24

Living it up at the Gaylord

QuakeCon will return from August 24 through August 27, 2017, ZeniMax has announced.

This year, the event is going to be held at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, TX, with the usual showcase of new games (remember Quake Champions?), competitive play, and a couple thousand seats reserved for bring-your-own-computer lan-party shenanigans.

The event is free for general admittance, and Bethesda is coyly promising that attendees will be among the “first to see sneak peeks of [its] upcoming titles and announcements.” A proper Doom single-player expansion, please. I need it. You need it. The whole word needs it. Let’s go already!
