Super Smash Bros. Brawl delayed in America and Japan

Recommended Videos

Visitors to the Smash DOJO today are in for some bad news. Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been delayed in both America and Japan:

Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we’ve had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9th.

I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience.

Rumors were flying around all over the place in the past week about the delay and now it’s official. The Japanese version has also been pushed back to the 31st of this month as well. The European version is still set for when Hell freezes over.

A month delay isn’t too bad, but it still sad to hear this. At least I’ll have more time to find a Wii now. How do you all feel about the delay?

[Thanks to Lark Ohiya for the heads up!]
