Tom Cruise hits LEGO Dimensions this month

In the Mission Impossible pack

A whole lot of IPs are coming to LEGO Dimensions later this month. For starters you have the predictable Harry Potter and Ghostbusters packs, but there’s some wacky ones in there too.

I mean, Mission Impossible — like, the Tom Cruise franchise, in an off-film year? Then there’s Adventure Time and the A-Team? It’s all part of a “Wave 6” rollout, which add on top of the base game — which for now is not getting a sequel. The toys to life well is drying up for a few other publishers (mostly Disney), but for others, it’s still alive and wriggling.

All of the above properties are pretty weird choices, but there’s a lot of other ones on the way like Sonic, and some Gremlins and Goonies representation.
