Fortnite Season 3 kicks off with more items, 60FPS on consoles, and more

A new Battle Pass is out

Fortnite, the game so popular that it shut down Paragon, just entered Season 3. If you haven’t been following along Epic Games has decided to break down the Battle Royale portion of the game into seasons, which as of recently have been utilizing a season pass style system called the “Battle Pass.” In addition to getting a few items upfront you’ll also earn more rewards for leveling up — a privilege that will run you $10 per season (which lasts roughly several months).

But the best part of the dawn of a new season is really the major updates that come with it, and this one is no exception. Console players now have a 60FPS slider (30 is still an option), for one, but all versions also get the new hand cannon weapon alongside of new balance changes, building alterations, and more items like skydiving trails.

Fortnite Battle Royale has become my screw-around game of choice as of late, and I’m glad they keep updating it so frequently.
