The rumors were true

Without pre-announcement or fanfare, Nintendo just posted a 10+ minute direct showing off new games and DLC for the Switch and 3DS.

Highlights include an HD port of The World Ends With You for Switch, two new DLC characters (Aegislash and Blastoise) for Pokken Tournament DX, new DLC for Mario Odyssey and Mario + Rabbids, a look at the new abilities in Kirby: Star Allies, ports of Dark Souls, Ys VIII, Hyrule Warriors, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for Switch, the announcement of Mario Tennis Aces for Switch, and an all new SNK fighter called SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy.

Thanks for the hot news, Nintendo! It makes the January chill at lot more tolerable.
