Monster Hunter: World’s PC port will be ready for Autumn 2018

Just in time for school to start!

Monster Hunter: World will be hitting consoles in a few short weeks, but PC players are gonna have to strap in for a wait. Capcom confirmed via Twitter that the goofy hunting simulator would be ready for an Autumn 2018 release window. That doesn’t even give us a month, but that at least means it will be launching before December…

To be fair, I’d rather the game launch in a fully optimized state rather than the rush job that most Japanese PC ports get. Capcom does have a track record of stellar ports, though, so I doubt we’ll have to worry about anything. It just sucks not being able to play for most of the year, but the wait will be worth it.
