PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds sets another concurrent player milestone

The game just won’t die!

Whether you like it or not, PUBG is a massive hit. The game is such a big hit, in fact, that it just passed three million concurrent players on Steam! While it has been the most played game on the service for a couple of months now, this upward trend of people playing is only widening the gap between the competition. How can anyone catch up?

While I really enjoy the game, even I’m surprised at how massively popular this title is. I know I played Counter-Strike for a bit during it’s heyday, but I don’t ever remember three million people logging on at once. I guess when your game has enough polish to totally blow away the competition, this should be expected.
