Dragon’s Crown removed from EU PSN, but will be republished under Atlus

It was previously under NIS

Dragon’s Crown, a fantastic and not juvenile at all video game, was removed from the European PSN this week. Panic! Wait, don’t panic.

Evidently it involved a deal that was always in place between Atlus and NIS (who published it in Europe), which just recently expired. However, according to NIS themselves, Atlus will be taking over publishing duties, and will effectively re-launch the game directly on the PSN. For now, you can still download everything as normal and multiplayer still works.

This makes perfect sense given the recent development this year that involves the dissolution of the partnership between NIS and Atlus. Also, go play Dragon’s Crown, it’s seriously great.
