Dual Universe looks like a sci-fi Minecraft

Everyone plays in the same world

Surprisingly, Dual Universe, revealed at E3 today, looks pretty cool. Described as a “single-shard sci-fi MMO,” it basically looks like a supercharged Minecraft. The game has a persistent universe and has building elements, as well as flight capabilities where you can go out into space. A fully functioning economy is also mentioned as a big draw.

There’s “a lot of work to do” yet, so don’t expect any major developments until early 2017, when the pre-alpha launches.
