My wallet gently weeps: Nintendo to release amiibo dioramas

Although they haven’t been announced in the west, Nintendo’s Japanese site has been updated to provide a look at its official upcoming amiibo diorama line — which, at present, consists of a Kirby and Super Smash Bros. model.

They’re both marked at 864 yen each (roughly eight US dollars), and are absolutely adorable. The Kirby one looks like a scene out of the classic Bubbly Clouds world, and the Smash diorama is from the arena “Battlefield.” Apparently they fold up like a board game, too — you can see for yourself in the gallery below.

I…want them, since it would give me an excuse to complete my Kirby collection.
