Speaking today at the EVO Championships, Tomoko Hiroki, who is responsible for producing the upcoming ArcSys game Dragon Ball FighterZ announced that, next week, two more characters would be revealed for the hyped anime fighter.

The new characters will be showcased in Japanese publication V Jump, which specialises in manga and manga-related video games. The issue will hit newsstands July 21.

In the same interview it was suggested that there is a possibility of a Nintendo Switch port, but that they were currently concentrating on the upcoming Xenoverse 2 “We want players to first go there” said Hiroki, through an interpreter “and then we can talk about FighterZ.”

The new characters will join the game’s current roster of Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Perfect Cell, Kid Gohan, Future Trunks and Majin Buu. I only know who the first three are because I’m an old man. So I’m going to throw this one out to the floor; who would you guys ‘n’ gals like to see bag these upcoming roster slots?

Dragon Ball FighterZ will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2018.
