THANK ARCEUS, FINALLY

Recommended Videos

As if the heavens have finally opened and Arceus has answered our prayers, The Pokemon Company’s Tsunekazu Ishiara has confirmed that they are making a “Core RPG Pokemon title” for the Nintendo Switch. No news of a release date just yet, but the reveal from the Nintendo E3 stream mentions “next year”, which is 2018.

This is a confirmation of the recent job listing for a “Globally popular RPG” from Game Freak, the developers of Pokemon. The job listings are for until May 2018 so take that as a clue of the release window for this new title.
