Zack and Wiki just found its way onto the UK Wii U eShop

Easily one of the best Wii games

Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure is one of the true forgotten gems on the Wii. A point and click puzzle adventure game, it focused on using the motion controls the console was based around in really intelligent ways. Simple repetitive gestures that were contextually appropriate, wrapped up in a charming if slightly childish aesthetic.

Zack and Wiki was a weird mismatch tonally, with challenging puzzle design but a youth focused visual style and identity. Still, it’s one of my favourite games that was released on the Wii.

If you live in the UK and always wanted to check out Zack and Wiki, but never got around to it, you’re in luck. As of today, it’s available on the UK Wii U eShop

Right, the game is now available for you to find. Follow your treasure map, find the X which marks the spot and dig some kind of digital hole. Basically, go play Zack and Wiki.
