Back in 2011, the original pitch for the Ruby-Spears Mega Man cartoon was found. Simply put, it looked pretty great, and was faithful to the source material. Instead, we got a weird “super fighting robot” rendition that was goofy as hell, often times in all the wrong ways.
Thankfully KeijiDragon and the folks over at Rockman Corner have restored the original to a much more presentable format, by way of tracking down the original VHS tape. Give it a watch and reminisce on what might have been.
