While Super Mario Run still hasn’t hit Android devices, Nintendo’s third foray into the mobile market, Fire Emblem Heroes, is out today on iOS and Android. It’ll utilize microtransactions in the form of Orbs, which can be used to refill your energy (so you can play more) or buy into new characters, which are randomized.

It’s par for the course for a gashapon game like this, but still strange coming from Nintendo. We’ll see how well it’s received — it might very well crush Super Mario Run like a bug, which will be even weirder to see from such a previously niche IP.

Right now it seems as if it’s only available in Europe and Japan, but the US switch will be flipped eventually.
