TGS 2007: Eye of Judgment trailer wants to judge your eyes

Recommended Videos

A very short video showing off Eye of Judgment‘s so-ridiculous-it’s-awesome gameplay. I’m not sure what anybody else thinks about this sordid Yu-Gi-Oh brought to life, but I have to say that it’s the PlayStation 3 game I care most about at the moment right next to Metal Gear Solid 4, if that remains exclus … oh wait, let’s not bring that up.

Whether you think it’s a silly gimmick or an amazing piece of technology, there’s no denying that EoJ is at least very different, and a definite move forward for the PS3. Rather than copy the Wii’s waggle with the SIXAXIS or turning the PlayStation Network into Xbox Live, this is something the PlayStation 3 does that its rivals have not done, and that’s a good thing. It’s part videogame, part toy, part card game. If this title fails, I will be very surprised indeed because it has “cash cow” written all over it.

Just imagine when they start selling booster packs of cards.
