Huge Mortal Kombat X patch meant to fix PC problems deletes save data

Yesterday, NetherRealm’s Ed Boon promised “huge improvements” for the PC version of Mortal Kombat X, which does not work as well as the console version. This came in the form of an extensive 15GB patch, detailed here.

Unfortunately, that patch killed players’ save data (character unlocks, Krypt progress) and was removed until WB can patch the patch, basically. “We sincerely apologize for this disruption.

But, hey, don’t forget to buy those DLC characters!
