The new James Bond game, 007 First Light, is coming soon to PC and consoles, and we don’t have long to wait to step into the boots of the famed MI6 operative. Developed and published by IO Interactive, we are less than two days away.
Here’s when we can become our version of James Bond in the virtual world.
007 First Light release countdown
007 First Light goes live worldwide on Wednesday, May 27. The following countdown will expire once the game is available across all platforms.
The countdown is based on the following times.
- 7am PST
- 9am CST
- 10am EST
- 2pm UTC
- 3pm BST
These times are applicable for both PC and consoles. There’s no New Zealand trick to exploit, which typically offers you a few extra hours of gameplay.
If you choose to purchase the Standard Edition before launch, you’ll automatically get the Digital Deluxe upgrade. This upgrade includes several in-game bonuses and up to 24 hours of extra gameplay. The following countdown will expire once the early access window begins.
The countdown is based on the following times.
- 7am PST
- 9am CST
- 10am EST
- 2pm UTC
- 3pm BST
If you decide to pre-order the game before May 27, you’ll be able to immediately play the game (as long as the early access window has begun). Typically, such mechanisms cost extra money, but I/O has done a wonderful thing by offering the upgrade at no extra cost.
While there’s no demo to check out, Steam already has a list of minimum and recommended settings for PC players.
