And Xbox One players get online co-op at last
The Resident Evil series has pulled some mighty strange stuff over the years that I’ve just come to accept. Hell, I’m practically numb to the silliness by now. Short shorts-wearing Lady Hunk? An oversized teddy bear with a gun and sword in hand? Tofu as a playable character? Haha, oh you.
Capcom is rolling out some new costumes for Resident Evil: Revelations 2 this week and if you’re wondering who gets what, it’s: Rachel and Lady Hunk for Gina, Mutant Pedro for Pedro, and Lottie (the stuffed bear) for Cipher. I gotta get me that bear. And the remaining Revelations 2 episodes.
Crucially, the company has also gotten around to adding online cooperative play for Raid Mode to the Xbox One version of the game. The PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360 versions should all have the costume update by tomorrow. As for PS3 players, sit tight — the release date isn’t finalized but Capcom says it’s “working with Sony and will have an update soon.”
