Game Debate to the Death!
Super Smash Bros. Beatdown!

Last week‘s debate was between the two terrors you see above. Thanks to all those who submitted game debate art — the two pictures above belong to Dtoiders Hildebrant (left) and MrJunko (right), and I attached the rest of everyone’s awesome art below.

So, who did we decide was the biggest and baddest of them all last week? There were hundreds of comments that went back and forth for both sides, with rape pictures of Pyramid Head as support for one side, and videos of Pyramid Head getting owned by a plank as support for the other side. Once the dust settled, the art you see above is a pretty good summary of how the votes turned out. Here are the results:

  • Big Daddy: 62 votes
  • Pyramid Head: 116 votes — winner!

This week, in honor of finally getting what we want from Nintendo . . . sorta . . . the debate is based on Super Smash Bros. 64.  Instead of arguing over which Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter character was the best, I want to know which Nintendo 64 fighter you thought was the best. Back when we didn’t have online console gaming, which one of these classic characters did you use the most to dominate your friends time and time again:

  • Captain Falcon, Donkey Kong, Fox, Jigglypuff, Kirby, Link, Luigi, Mario, Ness, Pikachu, Samus, Yoshi

Which is the best fighter, and why? Cast your votes, give us a reason for your decision, get some N64 buddies to give their opinions as well, and check back next week for the winner. Once the 64 bit dispute is settled, we’ll quickly move on to Melee and up the ante and voting options.
