Lionel Messi will grace the cover of FIFA for the third year straight year, but FIFA 15‘s North American release will see team USA’s Clint Dempsey creeping behind Messi, wondering why his lighting is so different.
There is one problem, though. Dempsey’s pro team is sponsored by Microsoft, and he wears a big old Xbox jersey. The PlayStation versions of the game have a wardrobe change on the cover, opting for a national team jersey.
Got to give football credit for not having a hatchet job broadcast filled with commercials and shilling every minute and a half, but I still can’t get over corporate branded jerseys. Lesser of two evils, I guess.
