MediEvil yanked from PlayStation Network due to bugs

The downloadable PlayStation game MediEvil has been pulled down from the PlayStation Network due to a bug that causes the game to crash.

Sony told Eurogamer that this bug, which causes the game to stop on the third level, led to the withdrawal this week. There is no given date for the patched return, but Sony says it will eventually return to the PlayStation Store once fixed, and anyone who originally purchased the game will be able to download it again for free.

According to GI, MediEvil isn’t the only buggy title. They say that Sony is also checking into other reports of audio problems in Sypro 2, which is still available on the network in Europe. Wait, someone downloaded Spyro 2?

In other news, fun games like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night seem to work perfectly fine.
