Excellent free-to-play shooter

PlanetSide 2 is a free-to-play first-person shooter. And it’ll remain a totally free-to-play shooter once it arrives on the PlayStation 4 as the game won’t require PlayStation Plus to play online.

We’ll be getting hands-on with PS2 on PS4 (heh) at E3, but the public will also get a chance with the game at MLG Anaheim from June 20-22.

As for the PC version, players can soon expect the new 64sqkm continent Hossin, an advanced achievement system, player-drive continent conquest/locking, and expansions to the Outfits system. All these features will also be available on the PlayStation 4 version too.
