Ninja Theory (Heavenly Sword, Enslaved) co-founder Tameem Antoniades will be delivering a keynote at GDC Europe, which will include some details on some of the games and ideas the company has worked on over the last 14 years that never saw the light of day.

“With the next generation consoles arriving at the top end, just as mobile and indie games have taken hold at the bottom, perhaps there is room for a third way, to turn the ‘squeezed middle,’ where many a good studio has disappeared, into an opportunity to redefine gaming: the AAA indie game.”

The keynote is called “The AAA Indie Proposition” and will focus on how the studio has maintained itself amidst shrinking middle tier development and peel back the curtain on some never before discussed projects, including a sequel to Kung Fu Chaos and footage of a next-gen game that was never talked about.

Exciting. As a huge fan of Enslaved, I’m down with looking at looking at whatever original ideas Ninja Theory has kicked around over the years. That and the new IP it has been working on.
