Multiplayer content and Grounded Mode out this week

This week, The Last of Us gets its final batch of DLC in the form of Reclaimed Territories, a collection of additional content multiplayer content like maps, skills, and weapons, as well as the challenging new Grounded Mode difficulty setting for the single-player campaign.

Reclaimed Territories is included as part of the $19.99 season pass alongside Left Behind, or you can grab the pack’s add-ons as rather pricey standalone purchases. Naughty Dog has a full breakdown of the maps, weapons, and skills plus pricing for non-pass owners over here.

I was hoping there’d be footage of Grounded Mode in this trailer, but no such luck. Its description sounds intriguing: “The AI is relentless, smart, and brutal and survival will be near impossible.” Are you willing to go through all of that for the ensuing satisfaction (and Trophy)?
