PAX Prime attendees able to ‘crowd play’ Tales from the Borderlands Episode 4

Potential hints about its release date

With just a little over three weeks to go, PAX Prime is almost upon us. The full schedule isn’t available yet, but Telltale sent over a snippet including its plans at the sold out gathering. On Saturday, August 29, Telltale will be playing through Episode Four of its best currently-running series Tales from the Borderlands.

The kicker is it will be a “crowd play” event, which sounds appropriately raucous for Borderlands. Attendees are invited to shout out which choices to select while they all watch how it plays out.

Though a proper release window was not included in the announcement, it’s probably safe to assume the episode will show up on digital storefronts the following week. Given the usual release schedule, that would mean PC and PlayStation platforms on September 1, Xbox platforms on September 2, and mobile on September 3. That’s my guess, anyhow.
