Dishonored remaster $20 cheaper if you own the original (update)

Do you own it digitally on PS3?

[Update: Bethesda confirmed to Eurogamer that the half-off price is available on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for those who own a digital copy of the original game. If you bought the disc, like a sucker, “retailers will have trade in incentives as well. Folks should check with their preferred retailers on what those deals are.”]

Bethesda is rewarding Dishonored owners looking to check out the DLC-bundled “Definitive Edition.” Reddit sleuths noted that Dishonored: Definitive Edition is only $20 on the PlayStation Store (down from $40) if you own the game.

And you should own it if you were a PlayStation Plus subscriber on account of the original being a free game in the subscription service back in April. Mine had run out by then, I think, unfortunately. Mostly because I want to play Pac-Man DX.

I think my Dishonored is a physical PS3 copy, so not sure if that’d count. Or it might actually be on PC. I do not remember.

Anyways, pretty cool. I want to play that supposedly great Brigmore Witches DLC.
