Metal Gear Solid V to have PlayStation exclusive content

Speckled Steer Salted: Ground Beefs

Hideo Kojima tweeted a picture of a Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes poster, which is less cool than all the pictures he tweets of delicious food. If you squint hard enough, one of the text lines in the blurry foreground image reads, “Exclusive content for the PlayStation platform.” If you squint even harder, it says there was in fact a second shooter on the grassy knoll.

What can it be? And is it surprising? Sony does seem to have been securing random exclusive content deals of late, like with Assassin’s Creed IV and Watch Dogs. Maybe some Vita functionality beyond the “second screen” tablet and phone options already talked about? Or just some additional missions?

Does this platform exclusive content ever convince you to buy a particular version, or turn you off altogether?
