Let’s look at some cool behind-the-scenes pictures of Doom

Romero brought presents

In celebration of Doom‘s 21st birthday, Brett shared a personal anecdote about how the iconic game came into his life at an early age and refused to leave. He didn’t include Doomguy’s midriff in the article, much to my chagrin, but I suppose it’d be less special if we highlighted it every time.

id Software co-founder John Romero celebrated the anniversary by tweeting up a storm of behind-the-scenes pictures and art assets, some of which have never been seen before publicly.

Yeah, you’re gonna want to take a look at this.

There’s more at Romero’s Twitter. Love, love, love this stuff.
