Sony’s gamescom press conference is over now, but they saved a key nugget of information for the very end. Just before closing out, Sony confirmed earlier PlayStation 4 pricing information, added that the console would launch in 32 countries, and finally dropped the release dates: November 15 in North America, and November 29 in Europe.
Another impressive bit of news from this section of the conference is that PlayStation 4 pre-orders have topped 1 million worldwide. Mark your calendars, people! The full force of the next generation of game consoles is almost upon us.
